后现代是20世纪后半叶在西方社会流行的一种哲学、文化思潮,对现代主义的本质主义、普遍性、和理性提出了重大批判,对西方社会产生了重大影响。后现代主义教育思想强调多元、崇尚差异、主张开放、重视平等,它推崇创造、否定中心和等级,去掉本质和必然。后现代主义师生观便是在这些教育思想的影响下产生的。它倡导交流与对话,鼓励教师与学生建立一种全方位的交互式的师生关系。它既有一定的哲学依据与理论基础,对实践也有巨大的指导意义。
Postmodernism is a philosophical and cultural trend popular in Western society in the second half of the 20th century. It has made major criticisms of the essentialism, universality and rationality of modernism and has had a significant impact on Western society. Postmodernist education emphasizes diversity, adheres to differences, advocates openness and values equality. It respects the creation and negation of centers and ranks, removing essence and inevitability. Postmodernist view of teachers and students is produced under the influence of these educational thoughts. It advocates communication and dialogue and encourages teachers and students to establish a full range of interactive teacher-student relationship. It not only has certain philosophical basis and theoretical basis, but also has great guiding significance for practice.
