近两年来,我们西平县图书馆在馆舍、人员、经费都十分紧张的情况下,不断更新传统观念,坚定不移地走“以文补文”的道路,受到了明显的经济效益,促进了图书馆工作的全面开展,在1988年全国性创文明图书馆竞赛中,荣获河南省“文明图书馆”二等奖。我们图书馆自立门户不到五年,与全地区同类馆比较,历史短,条件差,1985年文化馆楼落成后,暂用文化馆八间房,不足90平方米,图书馆可以说是“寄人篱下”,在这种情况下开展工作,困难不少。
