我们隆林各族自治县是一个5个少数民族杂居、聚居的地方,五彩隆林就像五朵美丽的彩霞镶在祖国的大西南,壮、汉、苗、仡佬、彝5个民族在长期历史演进中处于比较封闭的生存环境中,产生了别具一格的民族艺术,少数民族舞蹈艺术光灿夺目,至今为人称道。它们是少数民族生活的记录、承载、向往,芦笙舞(苗)、舂糍粑(壮)、乜面黛(彝)等经典舞蹈均是其中的代表,传承、影响至今,成为隆林少数民族舞蹈的代表项目、元素,影响着我们的创作思维。最近20多年来,隆林这块大地的生活状态发生了天翻地覆的变化,少数民族群众随着改革开放、市场经济及交通通讯的发达,逐渐融入现代生活之中,传统的生产生活方式在不断被稀释、改变甚至消失。舞蹈艺术源于生活,在这个生产生活方式大巨变的时代中,舞蹈创作应该遵循艺术规律,从群众生活中吸收营资源、营养,作品既能反应少数民族独特的生产、生活方式及民风民俗,作为节目的特点、亮点,让舞蹈更好地反映、承载少数民族的元素,我们隆林民族特色融入到现代舞蹈、民族舞蹈的大格局中去。
