据台报近日报道台湾已拟定出台湾纺织业发展目标,到2000年纺织业总产值将达9000亿元新台币,出口额将达200亿美元。 报道说,目前台湾纺织业的从业人员为23万人,去年纺织业总产值为5112亿元新台币,占台湾制造业总产值的10％,出口额达155.3亿美元,成为台湾第二大出口创汇产业。 台湾纺织业为了增加出口,向高附加值产品的方向发展,预计每公斤纺织品单价将从目前的5.1美元提高到8美元。此外,还增加了纺织品研究与开发费用和加强了产品质量的管理。 报道还指出,目前台湾纺织业的劳工不足,其中印染行业缺劳工达15％至20％,对外来劳工需求将有增无减,这一直是台湾纺织业的最大隐忧。
