一、原矿特性海城县范家堡子滑石矿,是由富含硅酸的热液与菱镁矿(岩)或白云石大理岩直接交代的产物,属中低温浅成开放系统的热液交代矿床。矿物中,滑石和菱镁矿占95％以上,仅含有极少量的石英、磷灰石、黄铁矿和微量的绿泥石、蛇纹石、电气石、透闪石、金红石、石墨等。滑石沿菱镁矿解理,粒间及裂隙交代,呈鳞片状集合休存在.菱镁矿呈大小不等的残留体。
