因受制于自然界生态环境的恶化,滥用乱用药物,动物疫病不能得到有效防控而不断传播等不良因素的影响,家禽健康养殖难度越来越大。现代养禽业的显著特点就是集约化标准化生产。这样对禽病预防,特别是对传染病的防控就显得尤为重要,是家禽健康养殖技术的重中之重,否则一旦发生疫病,不仅给饲养者造成严重的经济损失,而且直接影响家禽产品质量安全,危害群众身体健康,影响公共卫生。家禽规模化标准化健康养殖是一项复杂的综合性工程,主要涉及到禽场选址建设、环境清洁净化、饲养管理、饲料科学配合、疫病防治、卫生保健、病原微生物安全处理等多个技术环节。汕头市既是一个养禽生产大市,家禽饲养量常年保持在4500万只以上,又是一个禽类产品消费大市。目前,汕头市养禽业以规模化生产占主体,散养为辅。实施家禽规模化标准化健康养殖是汕头现代畜牧业必走之路,其终极是为群众提供丰富质量安全的家禽产品。
