井冈山道路的形成是马克思主义中国化的开篇之作,这部鸿篇巨制不是一挥而就,也不是个人独著。一方面,这个伟大开篇无疑是以井冈山根据地的建立为标志的,但它又有一个形成过程,南昌起义作为党独立领导中国革命武装斗争的开端,可以视为探索马克思主义中国化革命道路“伟大开篇”的一个组成部分。另一方面,毛泽东无疑是“创作”这个伟大开篇的主要代表,但它也凝聚了多位老一辈革命家的智慧和贡献。
