In recent years, along with the gradual advancement of the strategy of “national historic and cultural famous banner” in Inner Mongolia Oroqen Autonomous Banner and the intensification of the work on the protection of intangible cultural heritage, a number of Oroqen nationalities cultural heritage have successively been listed at the national level Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Oroqen folk songs were also included in the list of non-material cultural heritage protection by the state in 2006. This article analyzes the Oroqen folk songs through the analysis of the background of the Oroqen people’s historical background, folk song classification and introduction of Oroqen folk songs.
