A virtual assembly simulation system is presented. The layout and process of the robot virtual assembly are vividly and intuitively demonstrated during the design phase. The realization strategy of the virtual assembly simulation target and the realization process of the simulation visualization are analyzed. The research results help to shorten the product development cycle, improve the quality of design, reduce assembly costs
