2001年12月11日,中国正式成为WTO 的成员国.我国在加入世界贸易组织(即入世,下同)双边协议上涉及电影的主要有两条:一是在与我国《电影管理条例》相一致的前提下,允许每年以分账形式进口20部国外电影,用于影院放映:二是允许外资参与改造、建设和经营电影院.但外资比例不超过49%。这两条当时看来不可思议的承诺使得根基脆弱的中国电影业面临严峻的挑战,也给中国电影业未来的发展提
China officially became a member of the WTO on December 11, 2001.
