Since 2012, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province, has vigorously promoted the prevention and control of heavy metal pollution. Up till now, 49 heavy metal enterprises have been inspected, 3 electroplating production lines have been shut down, 4 high-limit companies have been punished, two companies with power-off restrictions have been closed and 8 enterprises have been interviewed to discuss 8 key pollution issues such as Hanzhong’s zinc industry Centralized management.
