中国力学学会第二届扩大理事会于5月9日至13日在北京举行。此次会议主要是修改学会章程;选举常务理事及理事长;各专业委员会报告学科发展动向等。 大会首先由钱学森理事长讲话。他对中国力学学会第—届常务理事会工作做了概括的总结,并对今后工作的方针任务做了说明。然后张维秘书长做选举常务理事办法及力学学会章程修改稿的说明:代表们对常务理事人选和章程进行了充分的讨论。
The 2nd China Institute of Mechanics Expanding Council was held in Beijing from May 9 to May 13. The meeting is mainly to amend the statute of the Association; elected executive director and chairman of the board of the professional disciplines to report trends and other disciplines. The conference was first chaired by chairman Qian Xuesen. He summed up the work of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Society of Mechanics for the first session, and explained the principles and tasks of the future work.
