广西不少地区有地方性甲状腺肿流行,同时其他甲状腺病也不少见。目前在区内大部分地甲流行区已经进行了碘盐供应。在非流行区及流行区中,尚未供碘地区及供碘地区的居民甲状腺功能状态如何?尚未见有报导。
