Never been subverted black type film, Almodovar to show the world that he is so handy to deal with the new challenges. For the first time, he did not use his original script, but chose Ruth Lendl’s criminal novel - “Live Color” adapted from. Another creative move was that he invited the young Spanish novelist Ray Roriga to work with him on screen adaptation. In addition, the film’s lead cast different from the past, all used Almodovar had not previously worked with the actor: he is more inclined to enable some fresh faces from within the Spanish cinema, as well as a hand-picked by him little known Italian actress.
