(一)坚持物质文明和精神文明并举,是建设有中国特色的社会主义的本质要求,也是实现社会主义现代化的基本战略方针。社会主义不仅要实现经济繁荣,而且要实现社会的全面进步。我们既要有计划地充分发展社会主义的商品经济,又要坚定不移地加强社会主义精神文明建设,不能因为强调社会主义精神文明建设而限制或妨碍社会主义商品经济发展,也不能由于发展商品经济而忽视或放松精神文明建设。要从理论和实践的结合上,建立起适应社会主义商品经济发展的、适应改革的社会主义精神文明,这是我们党一贯坚持的基本方针。在这个方针指导下,我们的社会主义精神文明建设取得了一系列成绩。对此,必须给予充分肯定。但是,应该看到,一个时期以来只重视物质文
