男子生长激素(GH)的自发性分泌存在着明显的年龄差异,GH的平均分泌率,青少年时期高于青年人和老年人。有些老年人24小时GH分泌量几乎接近零,这些年令差异的原因还没完全清楚,其机理可能是垂体对生长激素释放因子(hPGRF)的反应性随年令增长而下降,由于最近已从胰腺肿瘤中分离出具有特性的hPGRF-44和hPGRF-40,故这种假设可以通过试验加以证实。作者在本文中报告男子血浆GH对hPGRF-44反应的年令差别。
The spontaneous secretion of growth hormone (GH) in men has obvious age difference, and the average secretion rate of GH is higher in adolescent than that in young and old. Some seniors 24 hours GH secretion is almost zero, the reasons for these differences is not yet fully understood, the mechanism may be that the pituitary response to growth hormone releasing factor (hPGRF) decline with the advent of years, since recently HpGRF-44 and hPGRF-40, which are characteristic of pancreatic neoplasms, have been isolated, so this hypothesis can be confirmed by experiments. In this paper, the authors report the annual difference in response of human plasma GH to hPGRF-44.
