The cooperation between Sichuan and the World Bank,which began to give credit loans to the province some 10 years ago,has been highly praised as a successful example of international co-operation.Sichuan, so far, has benefited from the advance of some two billion US dollars,this is the largest loan to any province in China from the World Bank. Some of the twenty eight sectors that have benefited from this investment include: industry,agriculture, forestry, education, public health, and help given to poor areas to end poverty schemes.
