都江堰市是四川省辖县级市,地处“天府之国”的成都平原西北部,因著名水利工程都江堰而得名。全市辖区面积1207平方公里,城区面积20平方公里,总人口59.64万,其中:城市人口21.35万,城市化水平达34％。近年来,都江堰市大力实施“旅游兴市、工业强市、农业产业化富农村”的市域总体发展战略,经济社会持续快速健康发展。青城出·都江堰列入世界文化遗产名录,都江堰市跻身中国优秀
Dujiangyan City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province. It is located in the northwest of Chengdu Plain, the “land of abundance” and is named after the famous water conservancy project Dujiangyan. The city area of 1207 square kilometers, the urban area of 20 square kilometers, the total population of 596,400, of which: urban population 213,500, urbanization level of 34%. In recent years, Dujiangyan City has vigorously implemented the overall urban development strategy of “developing cities prosperously, industrializing strong cities and rich rural areas with agricultural industrialization”, and sustained, rapid and healthy economic and social development.
