当美国总统布什在斯洛文尼亚首次跟俄罗斯总统普京会面后,曾对各国记者说,他通过普京的双瞳看透了他的灵魂。这句话成了后来形容两位首脑间关系的名句。但布什真的看透了普京吗?事实是没有人敢说自己了解普京。对大部分人来说他仍是一个神秘的人,外表冷静得不露出任何喜怒哀乐,更不可能让你窥到丝毫内心想法。
When President Bush first met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Slovenia, he told various countries reporters that he saw through Putin’s double eyes his soul.
