二十世纪七十年代初,按照国家战略部署,经当时辽宁省委、辽宁省革委会决策,中国石油辽阳化纤公司最终选址在辽阳市兰家公社石场峪村。作为我国从国外引进成套设备建设的四大化纤原料生产基地之一,“大项”(辽化)建设备受关注。在“毛主席圈定我施工,建设辽化多光荣”口号的鼓舞下,各路会战大军汇集藏宝山下,开始了建设辽化的大会战。为加强后勤保障和地方管理工作,确保项目建设顺利进行,1978年,经省、市决定成立行政区,因“大项”(辽化)规模宏伟,命名为宏伟区。
In the early 1970s, according to the strategic deployment of the country, Liaoning Provincial Committee and Liaoning Provincial Revolutionary Committee made the decision at the time that PetroChina Liaoyang Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. was eventually located in Shichangyu Village, Lanjia Commune, Liaoyang City. Inspired by the slogan “Chairman Mao delineated my construction and built a glorious multi-glorious Liaohua”, various road battles and giants brought together Baoshan Baoshan and started the general assembly battle to build Liaohua. In order to strengthen logistical support and local management and ensure the smooth progress of the project, in 1978, the provinces and municipalities decided to set up an administrative area because of the grand scale of the “Great Project” (Liaohua).
