Since its founding in 2001, Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts Mianyang has devoted itself to cultivating high-quality applied talents with “non-heritage” awareness. The establishment of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute (a unit of China Folklore Association) established in 2010 marks the milestone of the inheritance and protection of “non-cultural heritage”.
