2012~2013年考古工作者对镇江中华路京口闸遗址进行了发掘,遗址时代跨度从唐代至明清。京口闸是江南运河上的第一座闸,堪称漕运咽喉、交通枢纽,历经唐代至清代,民国时期填埋为路。在京口闸元代房屋遗址中出土了青花龙纹鼎式香炉、青釉八卦纹鼎式香炉、孔雀蓝釉贴塑龙纹鼎式香炉,以及枢府釉缠枝牡丹、凤凰麒麟纹双耳扁瓶等瓷供器。地层中还出土了石制佛头、陶质佛手等宗教遗物残件。
From 2012 to 2013, archaeologists unearthed the Jingkou Gate Site of Zhonghua Road, Zhenjiang, spanning from the Tang Dynasty to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Jingkou gate is the first gate on the southern canal, called the throat of water transport, transport hub, after the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China landfill for the road. In Jingkou gate Yuan Dynasty house ruins unearthed blue and white dragon-style incense burner, green glaze gossip-style tripod censer, peacock blue glazed plastic dragon-style tripod incense burner, as well as the pivot glaze twig peony, phoenix unicorn pattern binaural flat Bottle and other porcelain suppliers. Stones are also unearthed stone Buddha, ceramic bergamot and other religious relics.
