圣诗(被奴役的非裔美国人在南方种植园工作过程中创作的诗歌)很少被归入抒情诗的范畴;与此同时,其作为非裔美国诗歌传统之源泉的重要价值常被忽略。尽管如此,圣诗对现当代非裔美国诗歌却有着广泛影响,因此对圣诗在非裔美国诗歌中地位和对非裔美国经典诗歌涵盖范围的再研究显得尤为重要。在聚焦圣诗典故和引用模式的基础上,本文指出被奴役的非裔美国人所创作的诗歌种类繁多且形式上颇具创新。究其本质,非裔美国诗歌源自大量流散文本;在写作手法和动机等方面,这些文本与先锋派诗歌创作实践整合在一起。
The hymns (poems created by enslaved African-Americans working in the South Plantation) are seldom classified as lyric poetry; at the same time their value as a source of African-American poetry tradition is often overlooked . Nonetheless, hymns have a widespread impact on contemporary African American poetry, so it is particularly important to revisit the hymns’ position in African American poetry and the coverage of African American classical poetry. On the basis of focusing on the hymns and citation patterns, this article points out that the poetry created by enslaved African Americans is varied and quite innovative in form. By its very nature, African American poetry stems from a large number of scattered texts; these texts are integrated with the practice of avant-garde poetry in writing techniques and motives.
