近年来,中国的民间公益组织纷纷前往海外学习如何开展机构运作,从草根组织、全国性组织到平台性组织,不一而足。联合之路(United Way)作为行业伙伴,也希望在各类组织之间扮演桥梁或平台角色。从机构历史发展的不同时期与不同视角来看,联合之路有着不同的中文译名。早在22年前引进其做法的中国台湾地区,当时称之为“联合劝募”。联合之路与大陆的慈善组织建立关系也已经长达16年,这段伙伴关系随着国内公益环境的发展出现新的变化,以美商为主的外国企业纷纷透过全球联合之路逐渐增加
