一些用户在室外天线上装设0.5—2米长的铁杆做避雷针,不但不起避雷作用,反而将雷电引到天线上传入电视机,造成机毁人亡。避雷针实际是“引雷针”,它把空中雷电电荷引向自身,再经接线引入大地,使其他物体免受雷击。而使雷电压引入电视机,就会使电视机承受几十万到几百万伏雷电压,会使电视机毁坏;如果有人正在收看电视,更会造成人身伤亡。
