英语中的形容词和副词有等级的区分,两者的人或事物进行比较时,我们常用比较级。表示三者或三者人或事物以上的比较时,我们用最高级。在英语教学中,表示人或事物比较时,常用的句型有以下三种。一、特殊疑问句式的比较级和最高级句子,也就是选择疑问句例1.Who is younger,Jim or Mary?例2.Who is the youngest,Jim,Mary or Kate?在这种句型中,判断是使用比较级还是最高级,取决于句型后半部分所提供的选择项,若是两个人或事物比较就用比较级,如例1,若是三者或三者以上的人或事物的比较,就用最高级,如例2。
