Some time ago, a painting entitled “The Woman Who Painted Mahjong” has aroused widespread concern at an international exposition, aka “2008- Beijing”. The author is a Canadian native of China. The entire work uses classical techniques of painting Combined with the surrealist expression technique, the intention express the picture of five women mahjong uniquely. This painting appears on the Internet after numerous replies, causing a wide range of interpretation. This can not help but give birth to questions: What concerns are so attracted to the attention of the audience and the interest of the discussion?
