林业部于8月23日至31日在我省保定市召开了华北、中原地区平原绿化会议。参加这次会议的有14个省、市、区的林业(农林)局长,重点地、县的领导同志,国家计委、团中央和有关省、市、区团委的负责同志及科研、新闻单位,共200人。国家农委第一付主任张平化同志专程到会作了重要报告。会上林业部付部长杨珏同志作了两次重要讲话。会议期间,参观了我省新城、涿县平原绿化的现场;11个省、县和共青团的同志介绍了经验;河北省革委林业局副局长华践同志做了赴意大利林业考察的报告;表彰了近年来在平原绿化工作上做出显著成绩的先进单位。
