在鲁迅的全部作品中,《野草》是其中最难理解的篇章之一,它所具有的魔幻色彩和象征意味是众多读者共同的感受,也是人们极为推崇的部分,全书中表现出的灰暗的色彩、诡异的景象、隐喻的意象……都给了读者迷离的感觉,但《野草》并不仅仅是纯心灵的告白或者是像有的人说的只是“入于心”的表露,它还有着自己深厚的现实基础,它是来源于当时复杂的社会生活,是对不公平社会的控诉和黑暗生活的批判,以及自己内心的真实自省,有着强烈的现实意义,这也是鲁迅这位伟大的批判现实主义作家的不变情结。
