我们的民族有着深厚文化底蕴,从原始社会起我国就产生了原始的舞蹈与音乐。经过四、五千年宫廷音乐、文人音乐、宗教音乐、民间音乐的不断发展,中国的民族音乐出现了勃勃的生机和活力。“民族的才是世界的”,这将意味着中华文化会在全球深入和发展。周荫昌先生在全国第六届国民音乐教育改革研讨会上的总结报告中说过,普通学校里强调“以中华文化为母语”的音乐教育,“在本质上它决不是带着青少年走向过去,而是理解过去,继承和发展传统,更好地走向未来。”只有让学生真真切切地认识到自己祖国民族音乐的博大精深,在加强民族音乐的教学中,提高他们对艺术的鉴赏能力,启迪学生的心灵,使他们潜移默化地受到良好情操、美好人格的教育。使民族音乐文化的精髓渗透于学生的心中,让学生得到全面的发展,提高创造能力,积极灵活地适应未来社会的变化,成为社会前进中的主力军。
