Ya’an City, Sichuan Province (formerly the provincial capital of Xikang province) is located in the central and western Sichuan Province, has a long history, unearthed relics and the existing extant cultural relics can be traced back to the last Paleolithic dating back to about 10,000 years, still more than the historical relics before the Han and Tang Dynasties . With the socialist modernization drive, a large number of precious relics will see the sun on top. In recent years, a large number of capital construction sites in Ya’an unearthed a large number of Kaiyuan Tongbao, Qiangyuanbao and Huichang Tangyuan currencies, which provided evidences for the study of politics, economy and culture during the Tang Dynasty. Here are a few rare Don money introduced below, for a good study. 1, Silver Kaiyuan treasures. In April 1994, I selected a piece of Kaiyuan Tongbao, a beautifully cast, thick-walled, black-rust-full body, from more than a thousand pieces of Tang Kaiyuan Tongbao, collected by a peddler in the city. Initially thought it was a white Kaiyuan Tongbao, carefully identified after returning home, measuring only a rare silver Kaiyuan. The money diameter of 2.5 cm, diameter of 0.7 cm, 0.2 cm thick, weighs 6.1 grams, and records contained in the silver Kaiyuan Tongbao features the same money.
