The troupe serves the countryside mainly through performing the socialism education to the peasants and meeting the needs of their cultural life. How can we get this done? By studying Chairman Mao’s work and insisting on the practice of performing in the countryside, we gradually made it clear that only by modernizing revolutionary drama and sending socialist literature and art to the countryside can we accomplish this.
