乌克兰退休特命全权大使亚历山大·斯林普琴科写了两本著名的书,献给他喜爱的外交职业。现在他正在写第三本书,从不同寻常的角度描写大使形象。众所周知,外交是一门艺术。因此在历史上有不少大使从事文学、音乐和绘画创作。无论他们作为艺术作品的作者,还是作为个人,都是值得研究的。亚历山大·斯林普琴科的新著《大使那些事》即献给这一专题。现在从他的新著中摘录几段与我国历史及相应的外交史有关的片段,以飨读者。众所周知,ambassador一词来源于拉丁语ambactus,意指助手、支持者、跟班、追随者、下手。也就是说,该词从古罗马时代就流入我国了。俄语中的“大使”一词使用稍晚,但这一概念本身从远古时期就
Alexander Slompchenko, Ukraine’s ambassador and plenipotentiary, has written two famous books dedicated to his favorite diplomatic career. Now he is writing a third book, describing the image of the ambassador from an unusual perspective. As we all know, diplomacy is an art. Therefore, in the history there are many ambassadors engaged in literature, music and painting creation. Whether they are authors of works of art or individuals, it is worth studying. Alexander Slompchenko’s new book, “Ambassadors Things,” is dedicated to this topic. He now extracts from his new book a few paragraphs related to our history and the corresponding diplomatic history in order to readers. As we all know, the word ambassador comes from the Latin ambactus, meaning aides, supporters, followers, followers, start. In other words, the word came to my country from ancient Rome. The term “ambassador” in Russian is used later, but the concept itself has evolved from ancient times
