吴和(Jaromír Vochala雅罗米尔·沃哈拉),男,捷克汉学家、语言学家、翻译家、评论家,现为捷克东方学会会员、欧洲汉学家协会会员。 1927年9月24日出生于摩拉维亚。从小喜欢文学,对各种不同的文化兴趣浓厚。1951年考入经济大学,翌年到中国留学,在北京大学专修班学习汉语,由于语言文字对他产生了强大的吸引力,他要求改变专业,把对外贸易专业改为汉语专业。经过两年学习,后转入北京大学中文系,在著名教授王力、高名凯、周祖谟、林庚等人的指导下,学习汉语和中国文学、中国历史。在学习中非常刻苦努力,攻下了汉语难关,跟中国学生一起学习《现代汉语》、《汉语史》、《语言学引论》、《语音学》、《中国文学史》、《文艺学引论》等,除《文艺学引论》外,各门课程全优。他在学习期间,时逢中国进行文字改革,制订汉语拼音方案,简化汉字,推广普通话等,他对此十分关心,经常参加讨论,发表文章,并亲自到中国文字改革委员会去询问汉字改革的远景规划。1958年从北京大学毕业,毕业论文是用中文写的《论汉字改革正字法中的一些问题》,在论文中提出了他对文字改革的意见。
Jaromír Vochala, male, Czech scholar, linguist, translator, critic, now a member of the Czech Eastern Society and a member of the European Sinologist Association. He was admitted to Economic University in 1951, studied in China in the following year, studied Chinese in a special class at Peking University, and was strongly attracted to him by language. After two years of study, she transferred to the Chinese Department of Peking University and studied Chinese and Chinese literature and Chinese history under the guidance of famous professors Wang Li, Gao Mingkai, Zhou Zumo and Lin Geng. During his studies, he worked on the reform of Chinese characters, formulating the Hanyu Pinyin scheme, simplifying Chinese characters and promoting Putonghua. He was very concerned about this. He often participated in discussions and published articles. He personally went to the Chinese Character Reform Commission to inquire about the prospect of Chinese character reform planning. He graduated from Peking University in 1958 and wrote a dissertation in Chinese on “Some Problems in Orthographic Reform of Chinese Character Reform”, in which he put forward his opinion on the reform of the written word.
