“主旋律”的提出,至今已有六、七年之久。赞同者,非议者,困惑不解者,都不乏其人。争论纷纷,实际上,主要的是两个问题:一是如何理解“主旋律”;二是“主旋律”究竟能不能奏响? 全然否定“主旋律”的意见,显然是缺乏依据的。“一时代有一时代的文学”,那么必然地会有一时代文学的主要旋律。文学艺术是时代生活的反映,一个时代的社会思潮与情绪不影响、制约、乃至决定文艺思潮与倾向,那是难以想象的。我们今天所处的,是一个建设有中国特色的社会主义与现代化国家的
The “main theme” has been proposed for six or seven years now. Endorsers, nonsenters, puzzled, there is no shortage of people. In fact, there are two main issues: First, how to understand the “main theme”; second, whether the “main theme” can play an important role or not; and it is obviously unfounded to deny the “main theme” altogether. “A generation of contemporary literature,” then there will inevitably be the main melody of a time literature.
