“八五”期间通信运营业飞速发展,到1994年底,交换机安装拥有量为6400万门,其中市话交换机为3800万门,农话交换机1130万门,用户交换机1440万门。根据邮电部计划,1995年市话交换机增加1400万门,加上农话、用户交换机到1995年底预计新增2000—2200万门。交换机总拥有量将达8400—8600万门。邮电部领导在日内瓦世界会上透露,到2000年交换机总量将达到1.7亿万门。即“九五”期间将增加8400—8600万门,每年约为2000万门。
During the period of the Eighth Five-Year Plan, the communications operation industry developed rapidly. By the end of 1994, the number of switch installations had reached 64 million, of which 38 million were local exchangers, 11.3 million were for agricultural switchboards, and 14.4 million were for user exchanges. According to the plan of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, the number of local telephone exchanges increased by 14 million in 1995. With the help of an agricultural communication, the number of user exchanges is expected to increase by 2 million and 2 million by the end of 1995. Switch total ownership will reach 8400-8600 million. The leaders of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications revealed at the World Congress in Geneva that by the year 2000, the total number of exchanges will reach 170 million. That is, there will be an increase of 8400-8600 million doors during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period and about 20 million doors each year.
