The thesis introduces various characteristic wavelet bases used in non-stationarymachinery equipment diagnosis, then discusses genetic wavelets and harmonic wavelets andtheir practical application respectively in fault diagnosis of an internal combustion engine and in orbits extracting (analysis) of rotating machinery
