企业作为市场经济这一庞大机体的细胞,看似微不足道,但却是不可缺少,并担负着这一机体健康运行的重大责任,因此企业自身经营以及其所担负的社会责任,是必须纳入现代企业经营决策当中,以保证其能促进整个社会的健康发展。在社会经济发展的过程中,企业为追求自身利益,不惜牺牲环境为代价的例子,无论国内或国外均不胜枚举;在一定程度上,这种企业对环境保护这一社会责任的忽略,可能换来短时期经济的繁荣,而其最终结果是,人类生存环境日益恶化,人类不得不付出更为昂贵的代价来弥补经济增长中对环境造成的破坏。难道企业对利益的追求与其所应承担的社会责任总是发生冲突而不可调和的?作为一家从事环境保护公司的经营者,就中国目前环境破坏的严重性和企业所应担负的社会环境责任并结合实例进行了简要的阐述,同时借此来探讨企业在环境责任方面的“义利相融”。
