改革开放以来,宁波经济之所以能保持持续快速增长,成为全国经济发展最具活力的地区之一,很重要的原因是得益于块状经济的发展。截至2001年底,全市有块状经济145块,年产值786亿元,占全市工业总产值60%以上。全市块状经济从业人员40万人,占全市农村劳动力总数的16%。块状经济的发展,对于推进农村工业化,培育专业市场,发展外向型经济,加快小城镇建设,扩大就业,促进区域经济发展,起到了重要作用。
Since the reform and opening up, Ningbo’s economy has been able to maintain sustained and rapid growth and become one of the most dynamic areas in the country’s economic development. The important reason for this is that it has benefited from the development of the massive economy. As of the end of 2001, the city has 145 block economy, with an annual output value of 78.6 billion yuan, accounting for more than 60% of the city’s total industrial output value. The city’s block economy employs 400,000 people, accounting for 16% of the city’s total rural workforce. The development of massive economy has played an important role in promoting rural industrialization, fostering a professional market, developing an outward-oriented economy, speeding up the construction of small towns and cities, expanding employment and promoting regional economic development.
