河北省部分地区古属冀州,故简称冀。河北地处华北、渤海之滨,首都北京周围,近交天津。全省地势由西北向东南倾斜,西北部为山区、丘陵和高原,其间分布有盆地和谷地,中部和东南部为广阔的平原。海岸线长487km。河北省属温带大陆性季风性气候,大部分地区四季分明。河北省名来源:原为故黄河以北,现指漳河以北的省份。
Some areas in Hebei Province, ancient Jizhou, so referred to as Hebei. Hebei is located in North China, the coast of Bohai Sea, the capital of Beijing around, near Tianjin. The province’s terrain from northwest to southeast tilt northwest mountain, hills and plateaus, during which the distribution of basins and valleys, central and southeast for the vast plains. The coastline is 487km long. Hebei Province is a temperate continental monsoon climate, most parts of the four seasons.
