滇东北是我国重要的铅锌成矿区之一.该区已发现铅锌矿床(点)200处以上,是我国研究铅锌矿床特征、成矿规律和矿床成因的有利地区.我们通过对地质现象的观察、分析,经过对矿床成因的后生论(包括热液论、侧分泌论、矿源层论、地下水成矿论等)与沉积论的反复对比后,于1966年提出了滇东北铅锌矿床的同生沉积成矿论(即沉积-改造论).由此得出的一些成矿规律,经过部分地段的检验,取得了一定的效果.
