1955年防治夏、秋蝗中,在徐州专区的微山湖蝗区、新海连市蝗区两地,试用了苏联的“О.К.С”联合动力喷粉喷雾器,由于治蝗是喷粉防治,因此只应用了喷粉部分。防治夏蝗阶段,在沛县喷粉5,029亩,新海连市喷粉1,590亩;防治秋蝗阶段,在铜山县喷粉4,440亩,新海连市喷粉441亩。由于动力喷粉喷雾器工作效率很高,喷粉均匀,经济方便,节省大批劳动力等优点,因此得到了广大群众的良好反应,现将使用中的初步经验简介于后。
