The typical postcolonial theory represented by Homi Baba has deeply deconstructed the nationalist identity. Homi Baba deconstruct national narrative mainly from three aspects: first, reveal the internal hybrid and contradiction of national identity as a whole; second, reveal the constitutional strategy of richness and diversity in national narrative Thirdly, the differences between colonial ethnic minorities and immigrants further deconstruct the identity of national identity. However, the author believes that the nation’s imagination construction and its identity psychology all have deep historical and cultural roots. It is by no means a single rational narrative that can be dismantled.
