Hilton McConnico既是画家、室内装饰家,也是摄影师、设计师、装置艺术家,现居巴黎。他先是为多家巴黎时尚公司担任时装设计,后转行电影,为多部影片担任布景设计。1983年,他凭借在让·雅克贝内克斯的影片《明月照沟渠》中的设计而一举荣膺恺撒奖的最佳布景。Hilton McConnico擅长运用色彩营造诗意氛围。他的装置艺术为其赢得了极高的声望,使之跻身当代集大乘艺术家行列,更为爱马仕设计过多项展览,包括在东京和首尔爱马仕大厦内的爱马仕博物馆。
Hilton McConnico is a painter, interior decorator, photographer, designer, installation artist and now lives in Paris. He first worked as a fashion designer for a number of Paris fashion companies, then switched to film and set design for several films. In 1983, he was awarded with the best set of awards for his designs in the film “The Moonlight Ditch” by Jean Jacques Bennets. Hilton McConnico is good at using color to create a poetic atmosphere. His installation art has earned him an extremely high reputation and has made him one of the leading contemporary Mahayana artists. He has also designed several exhibitions for Hermès, including the Hermès Museum in Tokyo and the Hermès Building in Seoul.
