The clinical manifestations of primary liver cancer are sometimes lacking in specificity and often resemble chronic liver disease. However, it has recently been reported that some clinical manifestations of primary liver cancer, such as diarrhea, are not common in general liver disease, and therefore contribute to the discovery of liver cancer.
