冬季防治小麦锈病,在许多地区形成了群众性的“查锈、灭锈、防锈”运动,歼灭了大量越冬锈菌,守住了冬前关。但是,必须指出,锈病是一种猖獗性病害,滋生繁殖很快,蔓延极为迅速,只要有少量病菌存在,就有大量发生的可能。残留病菌在大搞丰产方、园田化、水肥充足的条件下越冬,极为有利,加以各地栽植感病品种还不少,如果气候适宜,锈病就会严重发生。
