一踏进七台河矿务局铁东矿一采区,便可以看到耀眼的“一采区”大字悬挂在大门上,三栋半环排列的砖瓦房整洁一新,院中花香四溢,果树成行,各种文化娱乐、福利保健设施齐全,工人们精神饱满,矿工倒班宿舍内装修得四壁生辉。入夜,彩灯璀璨,歌声悠扬。难怪省煤炭局局长视察后感叹:“我干了一辈子矿,没见过这么美丽的矿区。”这一切,用矿工的话说:“脏乱臭变天堂,这里面有我们的好代表李月明的辛勤汗水呀!”李月明今年四十二岁,敦实的身材典型的东北汉。几十年来,他和煤结缘,是从井下发展起来的一名采区区长。在采区他以作风实、业务精、感情重,深得矿工们的尊重和爱戴。
