Sweden produces a newly designed fiber tail that is said to reduce fiber consumption to a minimum. There are mainly four aspects to the fatigue damage of the shank: 1. chamfering sharply; 2. acute change of cross section; 3. unsuitable brazing shoulders; 4. cracks due to improper fit of the drill pipe and the fiber rod.
