1996年8月～1997年6月，在陕西大荔县八鱼乡西营村和蒲城县平路庙乡直社村调查了日本龟蜡蚧在枣树上的分布与危害。结果表明，单叶幼虫数随枣树受害程度的增加而增多，单果重随枣树爱害程度的增加而减少;越冬雌虫的危害造成每股的抽吊数减少，吊长显著变短，每吊的枣叶数减少;幼虫和雌成虫在树冠上的分布是阳面（南面）大于阴面（北面），其中树冠中部虫量分布的最多。
From August 1996 to June 1997, the distribution and damage of Japanese turtle Cervica nippon in Jujube were investigated in Saiying Village, Bayu Town, Dali County, Shaanxi Province and Zhoushe Village, Pinglu Miao Township, Pucheng County. The results showed that the number of single-leaf larvae increased with the increase of the degree of jujube damage, and the fruit weight decreased with the increasing degree of love of jujube trees. The damage caused by overwintering females reduced the number of pods per pod and the hanging length significantly shortened, The number of jujube leaves per hanging decreased; the distribution of larvae and female adults on the canopy was higher on the sun-facing (south) than on the lunar (north), with the largest distribution of the larvae in the middle of the canopy.
