Objective To investigate the changes of sex hormone, BDNF and nNOS before and after menopause in postmenopausal women and to analyze its influence on postmenopausal women. Methods 126 cases of perimenopausal women from July 2013 to May 2014 in Affiliated Hospital of Beihua University were selected as the observation group and 126 women in the same period of normal physical examination were randomly selected as the control group. FSH, LH, E2, P, T and BDNF and nNOS were measured. Results The serum levels of FSH and LH in the observation group were (53.92 ± 2.81) m IU / L and (42.40 ± 3.14) IU / L, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the control group (21.26 ± 1.95 mIU / L and 20.17 ± 2.93 IU / L, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The levels of E2, P and T in observation group were (45.61 ± 4.23) pmol / L, (21.08 ± 3.93) nmol / L and (0.58 ± 0.30) pmol / L, , (64.32 ± 4.61) nmol / L and (1.39 ± 0.73) pmol / L, respectively, with statistical significance (P <0.05). The serum levels of BDNF and nNOS in the observation group were (3.82 ± 0.51) ng / ml and (20.17 ± 2.93) IU / L, respectively, which were lower than those in the control group (4.79 ± 0.63 ng / ml and 20.17 ± 2.93 IU / L, The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusions The sex hormones in postmenopausal women changed significantly. Serum levels of FSH, LH and T were elevated, the levels of E2 and P were decreased, and the levels of serum BDNF and nNOS were significantly decreased.
